Flavours · A Comparison

Which flavour
should you pick?

Five flavours, honestly compared - what each one tastes like, who tends to order it, and which to choose when you are buying for a crowd rather than for yourself.

If you are ordering in bulk and cannot ask everyone, the split that works most reliably is roughly half mango, a quarter apple, and the last quarter divided between the other three.

02

Mango - the default

Thick ripe pulp, honeyed and heavy, with a soft citrus edge at the finish. It is the only one of the five made with real mango pulp rather than concentrate, at 10% of the bottle, and you can tell: it has weight to it that the others do not.

It is also the one people buy by the case, and the first to sell out before Ramadan and through wedding season. If you are hedging, hedge towards mango.

03

Apple - the light one

Crisp and clean, orchard-sharp, cut with a light and even sweetness. It is the least heavy of the five, which makes it the one that disappears fastest in a lunchbox and the safest bet for children who find mango too thick.

It is also the best one to serve alongside rich food, where something heavy competes rather than helps.

04

Red Grape - the one for the table

Deep and grape-dark, softly tannic, sweet without ever going syrupy. The tannin is what stops it cloying, and it is the reason this one holds up through a long dinner better than the sweeter flavours.

It is the one that turns up at every big table, partly because it looks like an occasion in a glass. For functions where photographs matter, it earns its place.

05

Pineapple - the sharp one

Bright and tropical, sharp at the edges, with the sweetness landing late. That late sweetness is the whole character: the first mouthful reads as tart and the finish fills in afterwards.

It is the one to order if your household finds mango too sweet, and it is the best of the five served very cold on a hot afternoon.

06

Lychee - the interesting one

Delicate and perfumed, softly floral, sweet in a way that stays light rather than heavy. It is the most distinctive of the five and the one guests comment on, which cuts both ways - people either seek it out or leave it alone.

For that reason it is a poor choice as a sole flavour for a large function and an excellent choice as the third or fourth option alongside mango.

What is identical across all five

Only the fruit changes. Everything else is the same bottle:

  • Same prices - Rs 80 for 250 ml, Rs 130 for 500 ml, Rs 240 for 1000 ml.
  • Same bundles - 20 × 250 ml, 12 × 500 ml or 6 × 1000 ml.
  • Same nutrition per 200 ml - 96 kcal, 27 g carbohydrate, 12 mg vitamin C.
  • Same declared ingredient list, with the fruit and the flavour swapped.

So choosing between them is purely a question of taste, not of value. You can also mix flavours freely within one order, including a bulk one - the 35-bundle trade threshold counts bundles, not matching ones.

Still undecided? Mix them.

You can combine flavours in a single order and settle the argument at home.
